A woman has died after being struck by a train at Clapham South Tube station.
Paramedics, including the London Air Ambulance, were called to the station just before 12.40pm, a British Transport Police spokesperson stated.
"Despite their best efforts, she has sadly died," the spokesperson added.
"This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."

Clapham South Tube station was reportedly evacuated earlier this afternoon and an air ambulance has landed on Clapham Common across the road from the station.
Pictures shared on social media also show ambulances and police cars around the station on the corner of Nightingale Lane and Balham Hill.
Largest first response I've ever seen on Clapham right now. Tube closed. Unknown reason. These people are phenomenal. Pay them more! pic.twitter.com/8Faf8UQct3

“It’s very difficult to see what the situation is at the moment,” Josh Hawkes told the Wandsworth Guardian.
“A large number of people seemed to be evacuated from the tube station. The next thing we know there were a lot of emergency services arriving.”
