Police said they have had a "good response" in helping find the jogger who pushed a woman in front of a bus.

A video showing a man jogging along Putney Bridge then pushing a woman he ran past into the path of a bus was released by police yesterday (August 9).

Police have said they are now following a number of lines of enquiry thanks to the response they have got from the public.

The footage, which was taken from May 5 at 7.40am, showed the bus swerve to avoid the woman and narrowly miss her head.

The driver stopped to check on her wellbeing. Several passengers rushed off the bus to come to her aid, police stated.

When the jogger came back across the bridge about 15 minutes later, the victim tried to speak to him, but he ignored her and continued running, a Met spokesperson added.

The jogger is described as a white man, in his mid to late 30s, with brown eyes and short brown hair. He was wearing a light grey t-shirt and dark blue shorts.
