Two men charged in connection to the murder of Malachi Brooks are set to appear in court today.
Joel Preddie, 20 of Chantry Way, Mitcham was charged on Saturday, September 2 with murder and arson.
Abdul Popatpotra, 26, Totterdown Street, SW11 was charged on the same day with arson and perverting the course of justice.
They will both appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court.
Malachi, who was 21, died after being stabbed in Surrey Lane, SW11.
Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to the location on Tuesday, March 28 at around 1.10am, London's Air Ambulance also attended.
They found Malachi suffering stab wounds. Despite the best efforts of paramedics he died at the scene at 1.55am
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the heart.
