Wandsworth residents will get the chance to have their say on proposals for another cycle quietway in the borough.

An initiative by Transport for London (TfL), the scheme looks to create a network of quieter and less busy routes for cyclists who may not be as experienced and less confident than others, providing increased safety.

Following a consultation last year, there is current work underway on two other quiet ways.

One is the Q4 from Clapham Common to Wimbledon and the other is the Q5 from Waterloo to Norbury, and the new porposed quietway would link Q4 in Wandsworth Common with Teddington via Richmond.

There are also drop-in sessions for residents to discuss the proposals with a council officer.

Here are the details:

- King George’s Park: Mapleton Road Entrance, near Wandle Recreation Centre (Tuesday, October 10, from 3pm to 6pm, and Saturday, October 21, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm).
