A man has died after a motorbike he was driving crashed with a car near the Battersea Bridge this morning.
Police were called to Beaufort Street/Battersea Bridge Road at 6.41am to reports of a collision between a Toyota Prius and a Honda motorcycle.
A 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Next of kin have yet to be informed.
Formal identification and a post-mortem will held in due course.
The driver of the Toyota Prius stopped at the scene.
No arrests have been made and enquires continue.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit investigate supported by local officers.
Road closures are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible.
