The deadline for voting in Putney’s Thamesfield ward by-election closes tonight.
Polling stations in parts of Putney will remain open until 10pm, on November 9, so residents can cast their votes, with the new councillor being announced on November 10.
There are four candidates from four parties standing in the by-election:
- John Locker (Conserative Party)
- Di McCann (Green Party)
- Sally Warren (Labour Party)
- Ryan Mercer (Liberal Democrats)
The by-election was called following the death of former Mayor of Wandsworth, Cllr Jim Maddan OBE.
Counting of the votes will begin at 10.15pm tonight and the results are expected to be released at approximately 11.30pm.
