Wandsworth is one of London's least friendly boroughs, a survey has revealed.

The borough’s ‘friendly score’ was eighth out of 32, at 40, with neighbouring borough Richmond being listed fourth from bottom and Lambeth was seventh.

Greenwich was named the ‘friendliest place to live in London’ and Merton was finished in third place.

According to the survey run by Vivo Property Buyers, Wandsworth had the lowest ‘safety and spirit’ score, at 42, with residents apparently saying there were ‘too many snooty people in the area’ and that children are ‘in general badly behaved’.

Participants questions which included how often people spoke with their neighbours, whether they supported local trade, and how safe they felt in their area.

But 71 percent of respondents said they wish to remain in the same borough for the next five years, with one person also saying the area is ‘quiet and calm’.
