Battersea Bridge Road has now reopened after a motorcycle was involved in a crash with a wall this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the junction with Petworth Street 10.25am.
Transport for London (TfL) has said road closures are now in place between Westbridge Road and Prince of Wales Drive after the earlier incident.
Traffic is currently being diverted to Prince of Wales Drive.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 10:25hrs on Friday, 29 December to reports of a motorcycle in collision with a wall on Battersea Bridge Road, SW11.
"Emergency services remain at the scene."
