Serena Williams dropped a strong hint that she is targeting at least two more Wimbledon titles after sharing a photo of her daughter holding a miniature racket.

Williams is a 23-time grand slam singles champion and has won the women’s title at Wimbledon seven times, most recently in 2016.

Sharing a photo of her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr on Instagram, Williams said: “Olympia Ohanian, at match point, championship point, even without her shoes she’s hard to beat. Serving now For her 12th Wimbledon title. 3 more than her mum Serena.”

If the 36-year-old’s prediction does come true, it would mean she would have to lift the Venus Rosewater Dish twice more herself.

Williams withdrew from this year’s Australian Open – a tournament she won last year while famously two months pregnant – in order to give her more time to return to peak form.

Last month the American said she “absolutely” intends to surpass Margaret Court’s record of 24
grand slam titles.
