World leading illustrated reference publisher is relocating to Nine Elms media hub.

Dorling Kindersley (DK), the world leading illustrated reference publisher will move to One Embassy Gardens in Nine Elms from their 80 Strand Office by 2020.

DK have chosen to join colleagues from its sister company, Penguin Random House UK, whose move was announced in December 2017. The move is in line with a general shift in the media and publishing industries, with Apple to soon unveil London headquarters within the Nine Elm’s district.

The firm has signed a lease agreement with Ballymore to occupy three floors of office space with a combined size of 44,000 sq. ft.

Commenting on the announcement, Ian Hudson, CEO of DK, said: “We are delighted to be moving to One Embassy Gardens with our Penguin Random House UK colleagues. This is a wonderful new space at the heart of one of London’s most exciting new developments.”

John Mulryan, Group Managing Director of Ballymore, added:“DK’s relocation to One Embassy Gardens is a great testament to Nine Elms’ remarkable transformation. Their move, in conjunction with Penguin Random House, will create a new media and publishing hub for London and we are looking forward to welcoming our new guests.”
