Women are invited to take part in a free female’s only self-defence class in Earlsfield.
It will take place at Floreat Primary School, Garratt Lane, Earlsfield, on Saturday, April 21 from 2:30pm until 4:30pm.
The class, run by martial arts company MA&Y, will include safety tips, self-defence techniques as well as promote confidence and awareness.
Fully qualified professionals will lead the event, and will teach real-life protection methods in a friendly and safe environment.
Drills have been specially formulated for this event, and will allow participants to work with a partner at a pace they feel comfortable with.
All women are welcome and it is recommended that you bring a friend to partner with on the day.
Attendees are advised to wear trainers and comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in.
This is a free event with all proceeds from suggested donations being given to Women's Aid, and these will be collected on the day or on MA&Y’s website.
