Wandsworth residents are being invited to take part in free career introductory workshops.

The workshops are taking place from Monday, June 18 until Friday, June 22 as part of the Festival of Learning, a celebration of Lifelong learning in England.

The career sessions provide an opportunity to try something different, improve career prospects and enhance your wellbeing.

Tasters during the week include Introduction to Careers for Hospitality, Early Years Sector and Health & Social Care, along with Barista Training and a CV workshop.

There is also a chance to get healthy and active, with a Zumba for Health and Wellbeing for family and adults running on Wednesday, June 20 as well as a Healthy Eating and Nutrition session on Friday, June 22 where you can learn the importance of a balanced diet.

The sessions will be held at children centres, resource centres and colleges across the borough.

The week has been organised by Wandsworth council’s Lifelong Learning department, who deliver at least 650 courses for more than 8,000 learners.
