A Battersea development has been shortlisted for an award at the National Housing Awards 2018.

Optivo’s ‘stylish’ Riverlight scheme is up for ‘Best Large Development,’ in this year’s award.

The housing provider’s scheme forms part of the Riverlight Quay development in Nine Elms Lane.

It is one of six buildings which combines ‘striking architecture with a fantastic riverside location.

Optivo has a 116 one and two-bedroom shared ownership apartments within the building which have already been sold.

The shortlists for the National Housing Awards was announced on Tuesday, July 17.

Riverlight is the first of the Nine Elms developments to reach completion. It occupies a five-acre former industrial site next to Battersea Power Station.

The National Housing Awards will return for its twelfth year to celebrate excellence in home ownership, with the final due to take place in London on Thursday, September 6.
