A teenager has been stabbed in the neck while another was shot in the leg in an incident in Tooting late on Tuesday night (July 31).
Police were called to Hawthorn Crescent shortly after 11pm to reports of two men having been assaulted.
But by the time officers had arrived the parties involved had already left the scene.
Two men, aged 18 and 19, admitted themselves at a west London hospital – the former with a gunshot wound to his leg and the latter with a stab wound to his neck.
A Met Police spokesman said neither injuries are life-threatening or life-changing, while no arrests have been made at this stage.
Social media users took to Twitter following the incident, trying to find out what happened.
In a tweet, Tooting MP Dr Rosena Allin-Khan said: “Incident in Tooting last night near Rectory Lane involving weapons - injuries not thought to be life threatening.
“I’ve been liaising with the police and have asked for extra patrols in the area - follow Wandsworth police for updates.”
