Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim and the Stereo MCs were just some of the stars playing at a secret music festival in Oxfam, Tooting, last week.
The shop, in Upper Tooting Road, moved clothes rails aside and crammed in 150 people each night for the intimate performances.
During the day, the shop wheeled out carts of second-hand music for fans to buy.
The festival, aptly named Oxjam, also included Editors, VV Brown, Nitin Sawhney and the legendary drummer Tony Allen.
Editors singer Tom Smith said: “We’ve been supporting Oxfam for years now, so it’s really exciting for us to be a part of their biggest music event.
“Putting on shows in Oxfam’s high street stores is a great idea, these places are part of everyone’s daily lives these days.”
Tickets for the secret shows went on sale last month, with the location only revealed a few days in advance.
The events acted as a launch for the Oxjam month of music, which aims to raise money to help those affected by climate change.
