Hamster adventures for Blue Peter at Tooting Bec Lido

Blue Peter presenters will be taking part in a human “hamster ball” race this Saturday, in Tooting Bec Lido.

The children's television show hosts will run, roll, and flip their way around the open-air swimming pool in giant hamster-style globes.

The event, which will be televised in the next few months, will be viewed by members of the South London Swimming Club but is not open to the public due to health and safety restraints.
