Police are appealing for a jogger to come forward who witnessed a knifepoint robbery three weeks ago.
The robber followed a 35-year-old man down Kingscourt Road in Streatham at 11pm on Wednesday, July 21.
He grabbed the man’s laptop bag, pulled out a knife and demanded his mobile.
During the attack, a jogger ran past them and stopped when the victim shouted, “help, I’m being robbed.”
But the robber managed to fob him off with lies and he carried on his way.
The suspect is described as a black man aged between 20 and 24, approximately 5ft 8in height and wearing a black hooded top.
He was last seen making his way towards Bedford Hill in Balham.
Police are appealing for the jogger or any other witnesses to come forward.
Anyone with information should call DC Kirsty Madden from Lambeth’s Robbery Squad on 0208 649 2478 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
