Animals at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home would like to say thank you to an unknown benefactor who left them a box of hand-knitted blankets.
Staff discovered the box outside the rescue centre last week after it was dropped off by an anonymous kindly resident.
An unsigned note accompanied the donation saying: “Knitted with so much love for every dog and cat in Battersea”.
Stefania Johnson, senior cattery assistant said: “The blankets are beautiful and will come in handy as our intake of cats and kittens reaches an all time high. We can also use them once our new cattery opens in October.”
If you can offer a loving new home to a cat or kitten, visit battersea.org.uk.
