Drop in sessions will be held in Northcote library next week for Battersea residents to ask questions about the proposed school on the Bolingbroke site.
The sessions will be held on Monday November 29, from 1pm-3pm, Wednesday December 1, from 5pm-7pm and Saturday December 4, from 9am-1pm.
The Neighbourhood School Campaign for Wandsworth is hoping to establish a new state-funded, secular school on the old hospital site.
The campaign’s Jon De Maria wrote: “This is a vital part of the process and it’s important you have your say about the new school due to open in Sept 2012 - everything from admissions, to our plan for 'academic excellence', to extended school days, after school clubs, sports, even to what the school badge will look like.”
The proposals have however been met with opposition.
St George’s NHS Trust, the owner of the site, was looking to sell to property developers who wish to convert the building into flats.
The money raised from the sale would help develop St. George’s A&E department and expand other key departments.
