Police are hunting a man who pounced on a 26-year-old woman and threatened her with a knife as she walked through a park.
The apparently random attack took place as the woman was walking in Tooting Bec Common, near to Tooting Bec Road, on December 20.
The man is described as white, with an Eastern European accent, aged between 25 and 35 years old, just under 6ft and of slim, petite build.
He wore a cream coat with a hood and a white zip and had white trainers on and black gloves.
Officers are warning members of the public to remain vigilant and to call Wandsworth CID on 0208 247 8734 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 with information that could help the investigation.
