A 20-year-old man was arrested in front of his mother this morning following a police raid which found bags of skunk in a flat.
Officers from Northcote Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) carried out a warrant in the flat in Dents Road, Battersea.
A quantity of herbal cannabis was found in the first floor flat.
Wandsworth Guardian joined police on the raid in the upmarket flat, which took place at 7am.
About 14 police officers and police community support officers were involved after receiving a tip-off.
The flat smelled of cannabis and was surrounded by police carrying raid gear, while schoolchildren catching their morning bus looked on.
There was also a dangerous dogs unit who dealt with two bull terriers guarding the property.
The man, who shared the flat with his mother, has been arrested for drugs offences and was taken to a south London police station for further questioning.
Police Sergeant Richard Cloke said: "This is an example of the local Safer Neighbourhood Team working with the community to get intelligence and take action promptly to make Wandsworth a safer place and to reduce crime."
