Murder investigation into death of Croydon man launched

A murder inquiry has been launched after a man found in a critical condition died in hospital.

Police are investigating the death of 24-year-old Przemyslaw Lepkowski, of Thornton Heath Avenue, Croydon, after he was found in the early hours of Sunday, May 20, at an address in Eastbourne Road, Tooting.

He was taken to St George Hospital but died from his injuries last night.

Police have opened an incident room and enquiries are underway.

A group of four men in their 20s were arrested at or near the scene. One remains in custody while the other three were released without further action.
