A street party held at the same time as the Olympic cycle races raised hundreds for charity.

The Lacy Road street party, in Putney, was organised by the Exchange Shopping Centre to celebrate the big race weekend on July 27 and 28.

In between watching cyclists pedal round the borough for the road race spectators could enjoy fashion shows inside the shopping centre.

A bouncy castle and a giant chess set were set up in the road for children, as well as a Wattbike which measured power output and heart rate.

The Union Jack Flash Mob enterained the crowds with steel drums and singing, while Waitrose handed out free goodies.

A total of £876 was raised for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability during the weekend, which supports people affected by brain injury.
