Police appeal after distraction burglars fleece grandmother

Police are appealing to the public for information after distraction burglars robbed a 90-year-old grandmother's beloved jewellery.
Three men posing as electricians and plumbers knocked on the pensioner's door, in Ullathorne Road, Tooting, and told her there was a serious problems with her property.
The men forcibly persuaded her to let them in and while one kept her talking, the other two went upstairs and fleeced the old woman of a number of distinctive and unique pieces.
All three men were said to be smartly dressed and were wearing suits - the burglary took place just after 3pm on Wednesday, July 11.
