A mother accused of killing her two children was too unwell to attend her Old Bailey court hearing on Wednesday.

Felicia Boots, 34, is charged with murdering 14-month-old daughter Lily and 10-week-old son Mason at the family home in Killarney Road, Wandsworth, on May 9.

The jewellery designer was due to enter a plea this week but the hearing was adjourned while psychiatric reports were drawn up.

An inquest at Westminster Coroner's Court in May found the children were suffocated.

It is believed Mrs Boots and her husband Jeff Boots, an investment banker, moved to the UK from Canada in the last few years.

Mrs Boots will next appear at the Old Bailey on October 22.

A provisional trial date has been set for January 14.
