A street party took place on Saturday to raise funds for a number of charities.

The party was organised by the Tooting Grove Management Committee and took place in Tooting Grove, with it being the second the group has organised.

Community stalls were set up in the street, while Tooting Fire Station took names and addresses in order to set up smoke alarms.

First Touch NNU, the premature baby unit in St George's Hospital, sold products with the First Touch Logo.

Children enjoyed playing on a bouncy castle, while a barbecue was ran by the charity Ronald McDonald House.

MP Sadiq Khan paid a visit, including ward councillors Councillor James Daley and Councillor Sheila Boswell.

Alan Burrows, of the Tooting Grove Management Committee, said: "The day went very well, the heat 30c was a bit much for some, however a great day for all."
