Pro-Palestinian activists mistakenly slam the Wandsworth Guardian

Pro-Palestinian activists have mistakenly slammed the Wandsworth Guardian this week, as reported in Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post.

The newspaper said activists were dismayed Joshua Treviño has joined The Guardian's US commentary team, alleging his tweets about Gaza reflected an "incitement to murder."

But it appeared the newspaper became confused over which publication the pro-Palestinians were venting their fury towards, as a picture of the Wandsworth Guardian showed up on their website.

The photo of the pile of Wandsworth Guardian newspapers appeared under the headline "Pro-Palestinians slam 'Guardian' hiring of Treviño" on Monday.

However, within a few hours the newspaper must have realised it's mistake and swiftly changed the image to a photo of the Guardian.

The Jerusalem Post is an Israeli daily English newspaper, which has thousands of global readers.
