Twenty firefighters have extinguished a fire at Kingston University's Roehampton Vale campus.
The fire, which was reported to Kingston fire brigade at 4.20pm, is believed to have started in a ground floor automobile laboratory.
A spokesman for London Fire Brigade said: "We have sent four fire engines and twenty fire fighters to a ground floor fire at Friars Avenue, Roehampton Vale."
Reports from students on the campus suggest evacuation procedures were put in place after a fire started in an auto lab.
