Great food, live music and new dance moves at St John’s Hill Festival Great food, live music and new dance moves at St John’s Hill Festival

Organisers are hoping to attract big crowds to the fourth annual St John’s Hill Festival on Sunday, with the promise of great food, live music and the chance to learn some new dance moves.

The free event, which is being held on September 9 between 11am and 5pm, will feature favourites from previous years including the Great Golden Goldfish race outside FishClub, while the pavements of St John's Hill will be jam-packed with stalls and fun activities.

A new attraction will be dance displays on each street corner, giving visitors the chance to watch and learn the steps of many different types of dance from zumba to swing and street dance to salsa.

There will also be over 50 visiting stall holders, selling a huge variety of high quality goods from Sicilian olive oil to freshly baked cakes and handmade silver jewellery.

The bars, restaurants and cafes along St John's Hill will be offering up tasty treats from all four corners of the globe - including Indian, Eritrean, British and Italian.

There will also be a raffle to help raise money for this year's chosen charity - the St John's Hill Community Project. Prizes have been kindly donated by local traders.

The event has been organised by the Trader's Association of St John's Hill with additional help and support from Ben's Canteen, FishClub, Experience Travel and Powder Keg Diplomacy.
