Police appeal after St Johns Hill kebab shop beating

Police are appealing for information after a man was viciously beaten in a kebab shop last month.
After an evening-out with friends in the Battersea area the victim left a kebab shop on St Johns Hill when his friend was grabbed from behind by a man and fell to the floor.
When the victim turned round to see what had happened the man punched him in the face causing serious injury to his eye and damage to the eye socket.
The attack happened on August 27 around 1:30am.
After the assault the attacker walked down St Johns Hill before being chased by one of the victim’s friends along St Johns Road.
He was last seen in the Eckstein Road area, and is described as a black male, approx. 5ft, 6 inches tall, medium build with short dark hair.
