An event celebrating home-grown food took place over the weekend.

On Saturday Mushkil Aasaan, in Upper Tooting Road, Tooting, held a food collection.

Visitors were invited to bring their locally grown fruit and vegetables to be cooked by chefs.

A pop-up cookery demonstration took place, while Tooting-grown produce was also sold to guests.

The following day Tooting Market staged a series of events to celebrate food.

A pounds-for-plates initiative allowed people to trade food for money to buy other dishes.

Bakers showed off their skills during a cake competition, with prizes given out for the best cake made out of locally sourced ingredients.

A number of live acts and performers also entertained visitors to the market.
