Pants runners race for prostate disease
7:30am Tuesday 25th September 2012 in News By Alexandra Rucki
Hundreds of runners donned their pants on Saturday to raise money for a prostate disease charity.
Pants in the Park saw men, women and children sport their undies for a 5k run around Battersea Park.
The event was organised by Prostate Action, based in Putney, which is set to merge with Prostate Cancer UK.
All of the 110 runners wore specially designed Pants in the Park pants, which they decorated at home.
The money raised will go towards helping raise awareness of prostate disease and encouraging men in the UK to be more proactive about checking for symptoms.
