Sarah McGuinness took home a £6,000 Leo Diamond ring after winning The Exchange Shopping Centre's competition
A shopper took home a £6,000 ring after winning a diamond jubilee themed competition.
Sarah McGuinness was the closest to guessing the number of jewels in a crown being displayed at The Exchange Shopping Centre, in Putney High Street.
The Roehampton resident was told on Monday (September 24) she had scooped the top prize.
The competition, which ran for three months, saw visitors trying guess the number of jewels in order to bag a Leo Diamond ring.
A Coronation crown has been sitting on a regal plinth since the beginning of June, with the actual number of sparklers hidden inside being 474.
Anne Partridge, the centre manager, said: "With Putney being the focus for some of the summer’s most spectacular events including the Diamond Jubilee River Pageant and the Olympic Road Races, it seemed fitting that The Exchange found a way to mark this unforgettable year.
"It’s generated huge interest locally and entrants to the competition have far exceeded our expectations."
