Police name pensioner killed by lorry in Putney High Street

Police have named the pensioner killed by a lorry in Putney High Street at the end of last month.
Vittorio Kavaliero, from Charlwood Terrace, Putney, was pronounced dead at the scene despite attempts by paramedics to resuscitate him.
The 77-year-old, also known as Victor, was hit by the truck as he attempted to cross the thoroughfare at approximately 4.40pm on Friday, September 28.
Tributes and flowers have been laid on the pavement outside Lloyd's Bank and Sean Hanna hairdressers.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene, no arrests have been made. Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit based at Hampton are investigating.
A post mortem gave the cause of death as multiple injuries.
Detective Constable Nicola Linton, of the Criminal Investigation Unit, said: "The High Street was very busy at that time of the afternoon. We urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward."
