Glamorous day of fashion in Clapham High Street
A glamorous day of fashion based activities took place over the weekend cumulating in a catwalk show.
The day was organised by Creativeplanets and Lambeth Libraries, which took place in the Mary Seacole Centre, Clapham High Street.
Visitors were given the chance to take part in make-up, modelling, photography and embroidery workshops during the day.
In the evening six designers showcased their creations on a catwalk, which were selected following a competition.
Gulab Chaggar, of Creativeplanets, said: "We wanted to create a professional show with an appearance the likes of international shows you might have seen on Fashion TV.
"We had professional models, great lives performances, a full lighting rig with spotlight and of course music to compliment the catwalk.
"We were approached by audience members after the show, who wished to get involved in future events both artists and general interest alike."
Mr Chaggar said they hope to host more creative events in south London.
