Pileup in Putney causing traffic chaos

A four car pileup on Putney Hill is causing huge tailbacks.
Police and the fire brigade are working to clear the area, while ambulance crews are treating motorists involved in the smash.
The crash took place just after 8am this morning.
All lanes have now been re-opened but congestion back as far as the A3 and along Putney High Street expected throughout the morning.
