Some of the world's leading fashionistas will be swapping the catwalk for the dogwalk next month for Battersea Dogs and Cats Homes' annual ball.
Top male supermodel David Gandy, who became the charity's first ambassador in March, will be strutting his stuff alongside a number of the home's residents at the Collars & Coats Gala Ball on November 8.
In addition, some of the industry's top designers, including Julien Macdonald, Stella McCartney, Philip Treacy and Vivienne Westwood, will be creating exclusive dog coats and accessories for the event, held at Battersea Power Station.
Claire Horton, chief executive of the dogs' home said: "This will be the most wonderful and unique fashion fundraiser and we know our dogs will really enjoy it.
"We can’t wait to see Battersea dogs groomed and dressed in canine couture by the most influential and iconic designers from the world."
