Worral-Thompson's chef opens new takeaway
A former chef for Pru Leith and Antony Worrall-Thompson has opened a new takeaway in Tooting.
Cardamom Club, in Trinity Road, has been a roaring success since it was opened by Joy Moreno in July Owner Joy Moreno Demetriou set up the business alongside her husband, with help from her curry mad loving son Mihali.
Their aim is to run a takeaway which is a step-up from the cafe-style restaurants of Tooting, even hiring a designer to style the menu and interior.
There are plans in place to include more traditional dishes which head chef Bodrul Vasudevaro would cook at home, as well as run curry cooking classes.
