Yoga lovers run for cover as downpour spoils Putney Bridge flash mob
Dozens of yoga lovers had to run for cover after their flash mob turned into a damp squib.
Fans of the Indian exercise, which means 'union', had planned to take part in a simultaneous and sudden demonstration near Putney Bridge last Saturday morning.
But in true British fashion the weather decided not play ball and the heavens opened meaning the flash mobbers were soon completely drenched.
They manfully carried on regardless of the downpour but it soon became too much and they had to pick up their mats and head for shelter.
The Oxford Dictionary definistion of a flash mob is: A group of people who appear from out of nowhere, to perfom predetermined actions, designed to amuse and confuse surrounding people.
