Sainsbury’s Supports local hero with her Tea Party for Breakthrough Breast Cancer Raising up to £389.60 Local Hero and Regular customer of Sainsbury’s Orpington teams up with the store to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is a United Kingdom charity whose mission is to "save lives through improving early diagnosis, developing new treatments and preventing all types of breast cancer".
Joan Smith a regular customer came to Sainsbury’s asking for support for a regular tea party she hosts at her home back garden.
Sainsbury’s Orpington Store gave Joan a voucher that she could put towards the occasion and a raffle she intended to set up.
With this, the raffle raised up to £130.
The garden party was a success all together raising a total of £389.60!
Well Done to Joan Smith a true hero keep up the good work from all of us here at Sainsbury’s Orpington!
