Virgin Media customers are experiencing issues accessing their emails this morning (Monday, June 19). 

Some Virgin Media customers have been having problems since late last night.

Downdetector UK first revealed a spike in reports of issues with Virgin Media at around 6.45am this morning - with email being the main problem. 

Reports of problems with the Virgin Media email service have been on the incline all morning and reached over 1200 reports at around 10.40am.

Users report Virgin Media email problems

Virgin Media customers took to social media this morning to express their concerns with the problem, with some users reporting having had issues since 11pm last night (Sunday, June 18).

One customer, on Twitter, said: "Anyone else having problems with Virgin Media email in the UK? It's been down since just after 23:00 Sunday 18 June, UK time (just over 8 hours) with login failures and failures to find the servers."

Another added: "Is anyone else having trouble accessing Virgin Media email this morning? Can't sign in on any browser."

A third user said: "@virginmedia I can’t access my virgin media email account. Need it urgently for work and personal matters. Is the system down? If so, when will it be back online ?"

Virgin Media responds to email problems

Responding to one customer on Twitter, Virgin Media said they were aware of the problem and were working to resolve the issue.

Virgin Media said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing.

"I can confirm we are aware of a problem impacting some of our customers and our team are working to get this resolved as soon as possible."
