Local charity is 10 years old and has raised a massive £1,000,000 for children in south India. Adventure Ashram is 10 years old this year; 10 years of adventuring, exploring and changing the lives of children in India.

We have raised a million pounds towards supporting grassroots projects connected with children’s health and education in some of the poorest communities.

Our vision has always been to create better lives for people in India and so far we have achieved great things through the dedication and support of our wonderful donors.

Adventure Ashram started supporting Odanani in 2012, with a donation of £68,000 allowing the first boys house to be completed. A safe house for young boys, victims of human trafficking but rescued, to live and feel safe in a house with running water, toilets and their own bed.

Odanani means soulmate – and that is what these youngsters have become; rescuing, supporting and nurturing each other. Our child sponsorship programme continues to support children from the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. Adventure Ashram enables 230 children to get to school, kitted out in a uniform with books and a school bag.

The money funds a school bus, driver and fuel so these children can safely reach school and learn, something they love to do. We are so proud of what we have achieved so far yet we really want to do more and have big ambitious ideas for the next 10 years. Help us to achieve those and change the lives of children in India forever.
