Bright pupils from Falcons School for Girls raised an impressive £3,500 during the school’s first sponsored Pyjama Readathon.

The Putney based school hosted the readathon to raise money for its charity school, Hang Svart, in Cambodia, which is part of a United World School collaboration.

The girls arrived at school dressed in their pyjamas and slippers and enjoyed an afternoon of reading their favourite books in a relaxing space with bean bags and cushions galore.

Headmistress at Falcons School for Girls, Sophia Ashworth Jones commented: “We are so pleased that the girls raised such an incredible amount. They are a wonderful bunch of dedicated readers.”
