New parents in Wandsworth can now take part in a Baby Massage course at the Wandsworth Nursery and Pre-School Academy to learn the different techniques involved in communicating with their baby through massage.
Staff at the Smugglers Way-based nursery, which is part of the Busy Bees Childcare group, are inviting parents of babies aged over five weeks to take part in the course, which starts on Thursday 20th March at 10.30am, for four weeks.

The hour-long sessions will provide parents with all the recommended techniques for stimulating their baby’s physical, emotional and social development, incorporating reflexology and yoga routines. Other benefits of the class include relief from colic, teething and other common childhood ailments and guidance on creating a lasting bond between parent and baby in a relaxing environment.
The sessions are also a great opportunity for new parents in the area to meet with each other, while learning a new skill to benefit the development of their newborns.

Evelyn Hererra, Nursery Manager at the Wandsworth Nursery and Pre-School Academy, said:
