An exhibition and active arts evening will be held at Tooting Market.
The evening will be focusing on the possible closure of the market with visual, audio and interactive installations. In doing this we hope to raise awareness and celebrate the diverse and exuberant nature of the market.
Tooting Market is an important, accessible space that has allowed us, students residing in Tooting, to exhibit for free. The market supports young artists and small businesses, and is one of the few places retaining its heritage in London. It’s one of the defining landmarks of Tooting. A place in which many regard the heart of their community.
The event will take place Tuesday May 30th, from 6PM-9PM.
The future of the market is unclear so please come along and show your support.
