As part of the Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival 2017, ActionSpace Artists have taken up residency at Southside, transforming space with unique pieces of art and there are lots of ways for members of the public to get involved.
There is an open drop in session on Saturday 20th May where members of the public are invited along to take part in an open workshop to create a large scale installation. The artists will also be leading workshops for local residents with learning disabilities throughout the festival, sharing artistic practices on a large scale.
ActionSpace supports the development of artists with learning disabilities and creates innovative projects for people with learning disabilities to engage with the visual arts, working with partners across London to deliver projects that stimulate, inspire and transform the participants’ lives through building confidence and learning new skills.
