Tibble's Surbiton reign gets off to winning start

New Surbiton men’s captain Ben Tibble finished on the winning side in his first game at the helm last Sunday following predecessor Tim Deakin’s departure for Men’s Hockey League Premier Division rivals East Grinstead.
James Tindall hit his ninth goal of the season to add to goals from James Gall and Tom Merchant as the Sugden Road outfit beat Southgate 3-0.
Surbiton are only a point adrift of a place in the top four and they go to second-placed Canterbury this weekend.
