Edwards prepares for a shot an Kenya's Nzioki in the World Championships
Beddington boxer Charlie Edwards has reached the last 32 of the World Amateur Boxing Championships after a brutal display in his opening round bout.
The 20-year-old was too strong in Kazakhstan for Olayinka Yusuff in the 52kg category.
He forced a standing count in the second round, and then dropped the Nigerian in the third to win 3-0.
Edwards now faces Simon Nzioki from Kenya on Friday for a place in the last 16 on October 22.
