Wallace wonder try lights up dogged Quins win

A contender for try of the season from Luke Wallace and an opportunist score from Jack Clifford secured a first home Premiership win of the season for Harlequins with a 24-3 triumph over Sale Sharks.
Quins had edged in to a 9-3 first half lead through Ben Botica before Wallace collected a Nick Evans cross field kick to touch down in the corner for the game's decisive score.
It capped off a fine team move from director of rugby Conor O'Shea's men early in the second half that started with a break from hooker Dave Ward deep in his own half.
The ball went out wide to Tom Williams, who passed back inside for replacement number eight Clifford, and when the ball was finally recycled Evans kicked for Wallace to add the scoring touch.
It was no less than an injury ravaged Quins deserved and after Botica's fourth penalty and Clifford's charged down score, they had the maturity to close the game out for the win.
