Neal Ardley takes his Dons to League Two strugglers Bury tomorrow with a warning ringing in their ears.
After three high-profile games, Ardley is adamant Dons will show up after the Lord Mayor’s show and not get turned over at Gigg Lane.
League Two wins at high-flying Rochdale and Portsmouth at home, sandwiched the FA Cup visit of Coventry City live on BT Sport.
He said: “Bury will be a test. We had the match at Rochdale, when they were second in the league, then a cup game and the game against Portsmouth – they have been good games to be up for.
“The boys need to understand that this next one is the most important because they may think they only have to turn up for it.
“It is not as high profile as those other games, and therefore they are not going to keep their levels up, but I will make sure they do.”
Ardley is without the suspended Harry Pell, while new boy Kaid Mohamed is likely to feature again after an impressive return against Pompey.
